Non- islet cell tumour hypoglycaemia associated with ovarian carcinoma

Fasting hypoglycaemia may occasionally be caused by non islet cell tumours (NICTH). Mostly they are large retroperitoneal, intra-abdominal or intrathoracic tumours that are slow growing though malignant.
